Los Angeles, CA –  Once upon a time, two friends were enjoying the perks that UCSB college life had to offer while staying in shape as college baseball standouts.  This wasn’t always easy because their need for a nutritious diet needed to be met.  Everyday they would search for quick, healthy meals to compliment their rigorous athletic training schedules. This was almost impossible because most options at the time were nutritious but not delicious enough to fulfill the needs of their taste buds.

While on vacation in Hawaii, one of these enterprising young men came across an island staple which had made its way to the Hawaiian Islands via Brazil, but was not yet known to the mainland.  This amazing discovery has become a phenomenon both there and abroad as the acai and pitaya bowl and smoothie.

As time went on, these two fledgling entrepreneurs dipped their toes in professional baseball and a few other pursuits before their passion for business and leading healthy lifestyles reconverged in the form of Paradise Bowls.

Paradise Bowls has come a long way from the days of when the guys were running a single shop with nothing more than a vision and a product with uncompromising dedication to quality.

Today, Paradise Bowls has a seasoned management team of experienced professionals and is poised to take the acai and pitaya bowl market by storm.  With locations in Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Newport Beach and Irvine along with a location in San Diego Padres Stadium (An ode to their baseball DNA); Paradise Bowls is both a force to be reckoned with, and an uber nutritious delight that your taste buds will thank you for.

Produce Services of Los Angeles is a proud partner and supplier of fresh and frozen fruit to Paradise Bowls and looks forward to the their continued success into the future.
